A Few Words About Us
The inspiration for starting UGO coach and minibus hire, came into being when our managing Director arranged for his family to be mini bussed to Gatwick airport one Boxing Day for a flight to Antigua. The coach he had booked didn’t arrive at the agreed time and despite frantic phone calls to the coach company, there was no answer and the coach never did arrive, despite him booking and paying for the coach some two months earlier.
His only option was to organise a number of taxis from different companies to avoid missing the flight. This in itself was not at all easy on a Boxing Day when most taxi companies were shut. However 4 taxis later and with one hell of mad dash to the airport, they finally made it, but only just. Not only was it a stressful experience, it was also not a good start to what was supposed to be a special holiday for the two older members of the family.
This total incompetence of the coach company made him determined to start an independent coach and minibus business where incidents like this would never occur. He wanted there to be a backup coach or minibus in case of break downs and a manned telephone number where a member of staff would be available if any incident occurred with the booking throughout the night, day and through all public holidays. This philosophy continues to this day
Since then UGO Coach and Minibus Hire have become one of the UK’s leading coach hire companies, transporting people across the UK and Europe and we work hard to ensure everything will go smoothly, no matter how big or small the assignment is – And the proof of this commitment is the number of people and companies that continue to use us on a regular basis.
Coach and minibus hire is also available for airport transfers, business travel, film and TV shoots, evenings out, sporting events, celebration events, school trips, weekends and day trips, stag parties, UK tours, corporate hire and private hire. In fact we have a coach or minibus to meet all of your requirements.

March - Pandemic day. Over £500,000 of contracts have been placed on hold due to a new virus called Covid-19. What does this year bring us now?
2021
January - With lockdown slowly lifting and contracts beginning to start up again, we made it through 2020 by managing to get a small contract to move hundreds of essential NHS staff.
2021
May - Back to normal, and some. All contracts running at full speed, plus £200,000 additional annual contracts with BP and TMR.
